Dear Diary,
Today is my cousin Ellie’s birthday and she has got a fancy dress party. Everybody is dressed as a famous character! I am Mary Poppins: I have got a black hat and an umbrella. My brother Sam is Superman, with a red cape and red boots. Ellie is Alice, and her best friend Noor is a pirate. My dad is Captain Hook, but he isn’t scary: he is very funny! My little sister Rosie is scared of his hook, so she stays with Mum. At the end of the party, we all watch a Paddington film and eat marmalade sandwiches. I am tired but very happy.
See you tomorrow!
