Ce cours de anglais en cinquième sur « La ville et les directions » suit le programme officiel de anglais de cinquième. Il présente les définitions, les propriétés et les méthodes essentielles, accompagnées d'exemples résolus pour bien comprendre. Au programme : Les lieux de la ville, Demander son chemin poliment, Indiquer le chemin : l'impératif, Situer un lieu : prépositions. Chaque notion est expliquée pas à pas, puis mise en pratique grâce à des exercices interactifs, un QCM et une évaluation corrigée. Attention ! a library = une bibliothèque (on emprunte) ; a bookshop = une librairie (on achète). a car park = un parking ; a park = un jardin public.

Demander son chemin poliment

Astuce. Excuse me pour aborder quelqu'un ; Sorry pour s'excuser après. Et get to = arriver à, atteindre.

Indiquer le chemin : l'impératif

Attention ! L'impératif se forme sans sujet : You turn left comme consigne → Turn left. « Tout droit » = straight on, pas all right (= d'accord !).

Situer un lieu : prépositions

Astuce. in + rue (in Oxford Street, UK), on + côté (on the left), at + point précis (at the crossroads, at the corner).

Distance, transports et repères

Astuce. Pour répondre, enchaîne avec then, after that, finally et termine par la position du lieu (on your left, opposite…).
