Le texteIt’s a rainy Saturday, so Lily and her cousin Omar go to a science museum. At the ticket desk, Lily says: “Excuse me, two tickets, please.” “Here you are,” says the man. “Thank you very much!” “You’re welcome. Have a nice visit!”
In the first room, a guide talks about the planets, but she speaks very fast and Omar doesn’t understand. “Sorry, can you speak slower, please?” he asks. The guide smiles: “Of course!”
After an hour, Omar is tired and thirsty. “I need a drink,” he says. “Me too,” says Lily. At the café, Lily’s phone rings. It’s her friend Grace: “Can you come to the park at five?” “Sorry, I can’t. I’m at the museum with Omar.”
On the way out, Omar runs down the stairs. “Watch out!” shouts Lily. “Be careful, the stairs are wet!”
